CBDMedic’s Massage Therapy Deep Absorbing Oil

CBDMedic isn’t another CBD company that has every kind of product under the sun. They specialize in one segment: the topical application of CBD

Many who are new to CBD start exploring the topicals and skin products. There is no psychoactive component and a lot of physical relief can be had by sending signals to your brain via your skin receptors. CBD tells your nervous system to relax and calm the pain.

There are countless skin care products on the market. Today, I am reviewing a unique product by CBDMedic, the Massage Therapy Deep Absorbing Oil.

A Preface

I’ve been working in the cannabis and hemp industry for the last 5 years and have tried countless creams, salves, balms, lotions, gels, oils, etc. Perks of the job I guess. But you know what? Many of the jars are still in my cupboard just sitting there. I’ll tell you why…

Most topicals on the market are g-r-e-a-s-y. I hate to say it, but no matter how good something smells, if it’s super greasy, it’s unusable in my book.

Because let’s face it, products these days need to be convenient and functional. The worst thing is having greasy fingers for hours that distribute my CBD oil all over my phone, computer, etc.

First Impressions

Upon opening the bottle, I took a whiff of the unique scent. There’s a strong tone of menthol, but a very warm, almost caramel-y base to the fragrance profile. You could say it’s a bit perfumy. The smell stayed on my hands for some time after applying it to my skin.

I knew exactly where I was going to test out this oil: my neck and shoulders. I regularly carry a lot of stress and tension there and this last week, I woke up with a tight knot on the right side of my neck.

I poured out some oil onto my hands. The oil doesn’t come out of the bottle that easily, which is nice if you’ve ever over spilled a puddle in your hands before. I rubbed the oil between my hands to warm it up and then rubbed it into my neck and upper shoulders.

What I noticed immediately was that the oil absorbed into my skin effortlessly. It was there and then it was gone. My skin was soft but no oily residue.

The menthol and camphor in the oil immediately started working. My skin tingled and the cold/hot sensation brought blood and stimulation to the area. I did begin to feel relief within a few minutes of application. The whole zone felt warm and relaxed.

I was pleasantly surprised at the efficacy of this product. I reapplied it an hour later to keep the feeling going.

Absorption is the Clear Winner

Some may be excited at the menthol and camphor combo, which is clearly formulated very well in the oil. The ratio of ingredients seems to be really powerful.

But for me, the smell and the tingling weren’t my favorite parts. It was the way this oil absorbed into my skin so easily and rapidly.

When looking at the ingredients on the bottle, the oil is composed of Menthol, camphor, argan oil, coconut oil (MCT oil), cottonseed oil, frankincense oil, hemp extract (THC-free), honeysuckle oil, jojoba seed oil, myrrh oil.

The main oils all have moisturizing, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory properties. I was surprised to see cottonseed oil – don’t often see that one. It must play an important role in the oil blend.

Massage for a Better Quality of Life

Not all of us can afford a regular massage. But we all deserve one! Whether you can apply this oil to yourself or you ask for a friendly pair of hands to help you, this oil can be of great service to those suffering from aches and pains, general inflammation and arthritis.

The oil is so pleasant to use that you’ll find yourself applying it to more places than you initially intended to.

If you give this oil a try, please write to us and let us know of your experience.
